Irano-Turanian Plant Region:

This region is similar to the semi-desert steppe, a narrow strip extending parallel to the Mediterranean Sea region in the central and northern Naqab region of the Beier-Alsabaa basin, and the Jerusalem and Hebron Wilderness where the eastern slopes of the Palestinian highlands and the northern part of the Jordan Valley are located. This region is characterized by its low rainfall, ranging from 150-300 mm, and consists of short and connected shrubs, the most important of which are Pistacia trees, White Broom trees, Tamarisk trees, Arabian boxthorn, Desert Date, Irises, taners Sumac and Nitre Bush.
