The major period of species descriptions and the golden age of biology related to nature was and biodiversity was in the 19th century. Globally there has been a reduction both facilities and personnel doing high quality research in biodiversity. A lack of well-maintained natural history collections and taxonomists globally hampers biodiversity exploration and hence conservation (Paknia et al 2015).
